Child Therapy Clinic Services

Everyone is different. I work to understand you and your family’s background, life journey, current issues and goals.

  • Therapy

I work directly with young people and also with parents.   I use a range of highly effective, evidence-based interventions so that we can work towards managing the current difficulties you and your family might be facing and improve your quality of life.

I work to ensure that therapy becomes a place where you can open up without the fear of judgment or fear of saying the ‘wrong thing’.  Both being a young person and parent can be difficult tasks and I aim to support you, not judge you.

  • Consultation

A consultation can give you the point of view of a psychologist. This can involve working with parents and carers, professionals in educational settings such as schools, or other organisations. It can also include answering questions about psychology, mental health or ad-hoc supervision for professional colleagues seeking a psychologist's experience.

  • Parent Workshops

As parents, there are times when we can feel lost and unsure about what our child might need from us. Our children do not come with a manual, but we can learn to read the signals our child is giving us to make more sense of what they need.

The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. (COSP™).

As a trained facilitator in the The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program, I work with parents and care-givers to help them to:

    • Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs

    • Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions

    • Enhance the development of their child's self esteem

The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is an 8 week parenting program. Groups of approximately 12 parents can attend and we run the sessions in-person from a base in Mid Sussex. Each session lasts for 2 hours.

Cost is £350 per person for the full program and we kindly request that parents/carers commit to all 8 weeks.

We run approximately two programs per year. We can also be commissioned by a select group or organisation to run a course.
